Workshop Overview

Approximately 60 registrants, 12 posters and 6 plenary presentations were represented at the Workshop on Land Use/Land Cover Change and the Carbon Cycle, held on June 8-9, 2009, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The workshop was hosted on The University of Michigan's campus, in the School of Natural Resources, Dana Building.

The workshop was sponsored by the US Climate Change Science Program (CCSP), United States Geologic Survey (USGS), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The workshop was organized by The University of Michigan and Michigan Tech Research Institute (MTRI).
